CHERRY CREEK AUSTIN
One of the main attractions of South Austin is living so close to such a wide variety of beautiful parks and areas of greenbelt, and Cherry Creek homes fulfill just that attraction for its their residents. This neighborhood consists of a group of residential subdivisions in a suburban area of South Austin but with easy access to major local highways. It is a mixture of established residents, families, and singles who work in Austin, but want to be able to leave it all behind in the evenings. Streets lined with mature oak trees host a variety of different homes and properties.
WHERE IS CHERRY CREEK?
Cherry Creek homes are located between Brodie Lane and Manchaca Road, south of Davis Ln, about six miles to the east of Mopac Loop 1. To quickly get to Downtown Austin, one can bypass the major highways and simply take Westgate Boulevard to South Lamar, and from there travel north across Lady Bird Lake into Downtown Austin.
THINGS TO DO NEAR CHERRY CREEK
Cherry Creek homes are just south of the Stephenson Nature Preserve, which features a hiking trail open to the public and is just another example of the many wonderful green spaces available to South Austinites. The lovely Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is also nearby, offering a splendid oasis of colorful native Texas flowers and plant life. Traveling west of the neighborhood for just a few minutes residents will also find a Whole Foods and Costco Wholesale center. Nearby Westgate shopping center offers a host of restaurant and shopping options, including a Central Market grocery store and eatery. Also, this shopping center is completed with the Regal Westgate movie theater.
Students in this community are assigned to Austin ISD: including Cowan (K-5), Cunningham (K-5), or Sunset Valley (K-5) Elementary, Bedichek (6-8) or Covington (6-8) Middle and Bowie (9-12) or Crockett (9-12) High School.
