WESTERN OAKS AUSTIN

Western Oaks is a large suburban community in Southwest Austin which has incredible access to shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation areas.  These neighborhood homes have classic suburban architecture and are shaded by towering trees. Many homes have greenbelt views, covered patios, decks, pools, and outdoor entertaining and gathering spaces.  Most of these homes have open floor plans with large master suites and two-story foyers. The average build date is 1997, but most homes here offer extensive updates to the interior.

WHERE IS WESTERN OAKS?

This large neighborhood has borders of William Cannon Drive to the north, West Slaughter Lane to the south, MoPac Expressway to the east, with areas spanning Escarpment Boulevard to the west. 

THINGS TO DO WESTERN OAKS

Western Oaks homes are right in the middle of things here in Austin.  The homes are at the center of multiple parks and greenbelts, shopping centers, and service areas.  Convenience is enjoyed by all residents. While the neighborhood itself has a running trail, additional trails, a volleyball court, and pool are less than a mile away at Dick Nichols District Park.  Shopping is just miles away at Shops at Arbor Trails with a Whole Foods Market and Costco Wholesale among other shops where staples are found.  For nighttime entertainment, Alamo Drafthouse on Slaughter Lane is less than five miles away for all residents.

SCHOOLS

The Austin ISD serves the students of Western Oaks.  Younger students attend either Mills Elementary (PK-5) or Patton Elementary (PK-5), while older students attend Gorzycki Middle (6-8), Small Middle (6-8), Bowie (9-12) or Austin High School (9-12).  Private school options include Bannockburn Christian Academy (PK-5) and Veritas Academy (PK-12), just a five mile drive away.
